OKAY HERE'S THE DEAL
Donald trump is a freakshow, he's not someone that should ever be taken seriously in a political arena. The fact of the matter is that Trump's policies as well as his overall suggested platform are a ridiculous combo. This guy makes short, shocking, and often unacceptable comments for the sake of shock. What the hell can this guy do to help foreign policy? What does Trump know about the state of the union overall? This guy has admitted to basically purchasing politicians for special favors and somehow is somehow so acceptable that he's the lead dog in the republican race. I'm not going to say he's not a good businessman because to come back from four bankruptcies and failed ventures you have to be doing something right. I will say that a person that promotes hatred, bullying, and acts like a fucking isolationist dictator, has no place even being a part of the presidential race let alone one of the top candidates.

9/11
Some things you don't want to remember and some things you never can forget. September 11th, 2001 fits into the category of what can never be forgotten. I remember that day entirely too well. I was sitting in my car waiting for the traffic light to turn green. I was 22 and attending college; I remember I was switching stations trying to find a song that would satisfy my needs. Suddenly every station stopped in order to break the news that the twin towers had been attacked, a plane crash, something awful.
I drove to my mother's house and I saw a building collapsing on the TV set. I was shocked when I saw another plane crash into the second tower. It no longer mattered if it was real time or a replay, this was something else. We were one nation under attack by extremism and cowardice. It was the end of feeling secure, and the beginning of understanding that we were now vulnerable. I remember that we all united as a singularly without political preferences.
The days that followed there was no democratic party, republican party, simply americans behind one leader. The word evildoers pretty much served as a universal description of our enemies. Today it's been 13 years since that day and we still live in fear of what may come next. We can never forget the people whose lives ended that day, the heroes that gave their life, their spirit, their emotion to the rescue efforts. We can't forget that day because as big a tragedy as it was it also showed an almost uniquely American trait, united courage. Never Forget!

BASIL MARCEAUX WILL BE OUR NEXT PRESIDENT
Perhaps I am a bit late in my jump on to the Basil Marceaux bandwagon. Fuck it this is my blog and I do whatever the hell I want. I think Basil is the man to lead this country after Obama is gone. I am proposing that Mr. Marceaux build a grass roots campaign through an advent known as crowd funding. I feel that given his strong stances on religion, the oath, the flag and vegetation, he would be a breath of fresh air in the US. Let's look at why Basil would run this country right:
This mean has conviction he has a stomach that shows both a great ability to withstand massive quantities of strong mexican beer. Basil is a strong believer in the legalization of marijuana because god's plants should not be illegal as evidenced by his extremely eloquent explanation at a 2010 gubernatorial debate.
That's right, Basil wants people to be happy and relaxed and to be careful with their guns. America, we need this man to lead us, like the captain of the Titanic, the pilot of the Hindenburg. I shall make it my business to get us this man, let's change it up in Washington.
This man will not buy his way to our hearts, no sir, he will steamroll his way through the red tape in Washington take take a literal dump on the hill. Let's get Basil America, before it's too late.

WHY I SAY THANK YOU
I'm not a war monger, I don't go around saying let's bomb this place and that place all to hell. I wish that conflicts could be settled through communication but human nature prohibits that. I am still very thankful for veterans and today, on this veteran't day I say thanks. Veterans have always primarily fought because of an intense belief in the idea that the whole world deserves to be free of oppression.
Veterans do fight for the idea of democracy, every veteran I have met has always expressed a belief in making things right for others. Let's face facts, for every imperfection in our society, America on its worst day is still a gold standard. No, there is no perfect system, but considering the opportunities we have in this country, we can't really complain.
Every veteran is also willing to sacrifice a part of themselves in combat, something not everyone can really begin to comprehend. I never spent a day in a field of battle so I will never make a derogatory statement about a veteran, like so many idiots tend to do. People need to remember that veterans don't go into conflict with agendas, veterans are not politicians.
On this day, even if you don't believe in conflict, don't attack someone for doing what you never would. It's important to be grateful, servicemen and women often make a sacrifice that carries a high price and an almost non existent reward. There are reasons to say thank you to our veterans, too many of them to mention. Today I suggest a thank you because it's the least that can be done and lets our veterans know we understand what they gave up.

SO HERE WE ARE AGAIN
We look back at the closure of the US government and we can safely say that not a single thing has changed. Let's look at this from a simplistic perspective:
- The affordable care act is still a troubled piece of legislation
- The site for insurance exchanges has been a joke
- The parties are still pointing fingers without really doing a damn thing
- The medical device tax will likely bring forth a wrath of special interest battles
So, to sum it all up we got screwed as a nation for 16 days with nothing to show for it. I remember hearing a zealous conservative say it was a liberal thing while also watching liberals say it was a conservative thing. Let's face facts for a minute, liberals and conservatives are not working for anything other than their own legacies, the constituency always comes last.
A few years ago I read a book that was written by Samuel Pettengill, who served in the US congress for 8 years during the great division. I remember his book Smoke Screen was an insider's view into Washington politics and essentially served as the counterpoint to The New Deal. If we look at the Affordable Care Act, it's really the med version of the new deal.
It doesn't matter if you are for it or if you are against it, it's the law of the land. This law like any other law requires expenditures and said expenditures have to come from forms of taxation we as a nation may not agree with. In the end if it works or if it doesn't is going to depend on fund allocation and proper execution. The fact is that politicians could care less, they want the ability to cater to someone in order to have fall back money because the hundreds of thousands that they make every year is not enough.
Obama was a community organizer and is now a millionaire like every other US president to come around. It doesn't matter what you think, opinions of the masses are unimportant at this point. The Affordable Care Act will likely stick around and present problems like the insurance exchanges site, for one. It's time we wake up, smell the coffee and realize that are interests are not that important to our 535 legislators.

OKAY THEN
I get these little news headlines on my iPhone because I like to be informed. I don't quite get why I'm still interested in government news because honestly this whole fiasco has become a joke. At this point both democrats and republicans are acting like idiots trying to figure out who gets the better share of the tang.
I read briefly that now conservatives are looking at a possible momentary increase to the debt ceiling in order to avoid default. I am disgusted by this because honestly the nation's problems cannot e solved momentarily. What about the shutdown? Perhaps I read this all too briefly and maybe my facts are wrong. The one thing I am going to say is that this government is not for the people, not anymore and no one can convince me otherwise.
Democrats are as much to blame as republicans for what's happening. Obama did nothing of value when he had a supermajority in Senate and Democrats controlled the house. The affordable care act could have been passed, tuned, and made to help the citizens and not be used as a way to fuck the US.
I guess I'm just trying to say, fuck temporary and do what you were elected to do.

OKAY TOO MUCH IS GOING ON
If you've read my blog you know I try to do as much in terms of current events as I possibly can. I just read that a man set himself on fire at the National Mall in what may have been a protest of some sort. I read that the man apparently had an accomplice whose job it was to tape the whole thing. I'm wondering what the fuck this guy was thinking.
I think that setting yourself on fire has little to no effect on policy making, if that were the case the US would be a live barbecue. This whole world is going insane, what in the hell what this guy trying to prove? If this was really a protest it only shows how low hope has sunken the last few days.
The man, as it was written of hims, is battling life threatening injuries. If this man dies, it will have been for nothing because unfortunately nothing will change.
THE DAY OUR ECONOMY BECAME THE PROSTITUTE WITHOUT CLIENTS
I was recently in Amsterdam and while attending an exhibition of Federico Fellini's work at the EYE Museum and I was treated to some clips from Roma. I thought this film was an example of what abstract visual art is really all about. The film had a little bit of everything and it really spoke to the time it was released. The film was released in 1972, a period when there was so much much turmoil still and when the world was suffering a shock in terms of its transition from peace to unadulterated sex. If you've read this far I am certain you are asking yourself " What does this have to do with US economy issues? " Please let me get there before you get all ADD on me.
The film, if I recall accurately, had some prostitutes that looked like they were past their prime. What I think of our economy is that it has become that prostitute. Republicans are the pimps and democrats are the johns. What's funny about this is that if you think I'm complimenting democrats, I am not. I am saying they won't throw the whore a bone by opening a discussion to at least avoid what's going on. I'm also not complementing republicans, I am saying republicans are like a pimp with no whores except for the one with the saggy 70's cleavage.
Please republicans and democrats, let that hooker and let her freak flag fly.

ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING?
I usually try to stay away from certain issues only because hot buttons tend to create animosity and I'm not all about that. Having said that let me ask: Who in the fuck does Charles Rangel think he is? Who in the fuck does Sheila Jackson Lee think she is? Why won't all these fucking republican and democrat whores shut the fuck up about one another and stop politicizing everything just so they can make a point.
A woman with postpartum depression and an apparent bi polar disorder ends up going of the deep end and that's the fault of republicans? What the hell? Is there nothing sacred anymore? The woman got shot because she was seen as some sort of threat and suddenly the big thing answer is " This was a cause of the lack of the republican action." I think politicizing someone's mental illness is the lowest form of shit.
I have a better idea, how about democrats and republicans stop pimping our economy like a garden variety whore and do their jobs. Miriam Carey was a mentally unstable person and as a result of her problems she ended up making a mistake that would cost her her life and almost cost her her 18 month old's life. Please, don't use this as yet another manner of finger pointing, all of do need to shut the hell up and do your job.

CAN WE REALLY CALL THEM LEADERS?
I don't care if you are a democrat or a republican because we live in a free country. I'm bound by our constitution and the freedom of speech, choice, and so on, to respect your ideals. I don't have a side but I do have an observation about both sides. If you are a republican or a democrat and feel sensitive then please stop reading now.
I turn my TV on and all I hear is republicans blaming democrats and vice versa. Every politician with high hopes is getting their name out there in hopes that either the mid term elections or 2016 will be their breakout period. Let's not talk about sides, let's treat this in a more general manner so we can better appraise what's happening.
We put our futures in the hands of men and women that, although well educated, are as flawed as we are. These men and women reach a point where their nature is to assume that they as singular beings know better than every one of their constituents. While most of the time these men and women are well educated, that doesn't mean that they are beyond our reproach or better than us. While society needs a specific order and manner of law, that law and that order needs to be established with the interests of the people in mind.
It's true that 300 million Americans cannot individually agree on anything, other than their right to disagree. I think that one thing we can agree on is the fact that our "leaders" can't step outside of their fragile egos and do what's right. The root of this battle is Obamacare, whether you are for it or against it is irrelevant, at the moment anyway.
You have elected officials hurting the economy, the country's standing, and the well being of the average citizen because " they know what's best." The truth is that whatever our founding fathers spoke of ,when they banded together against an imperialist empire, has evaporated. Today the government does not stand for the cause of its citizens, it simply stands for whatever keeps key figures in power.
Republicans want to be seen as the guardians of value, the keepers of America's coffers. To house republicans it is vital to strike out against Obama's signature law. On the flip side, Democrats want to be seen as the merry thieves of Sherwood Forrest. What we have are a couple of groups shooting toward opposite extremes and not giving a care about how badly this is stressing the middle. The government did not need to close over this disagreement and that's an undeniable truth, regardless of political proclivity.
It doesn't matter if you agree with the healthcare law or not, this is a game of hide and seek with the economy. I'm not saying that republicans needed to cave, nor that democrats needed to cave. I am stating that both sides should have agreed to serious talks with regards to keeping the government open and not holding the population hostage. The big concern now is the debt celling and how that particular issue will be affected, truthfully that's not really as big an issue though.
I think the bigger issue is the question of how we can make our "leaders" act less like gangsters at a mob pow wow and more like leaders. Until these "leaders" can change their tune, America will continue to look like a day care full of children with discipline problems.

SOMEONE SHOULD SHUT THE FUCK UP
I like to think of myself as middle of the road in many aspects. I think that most of the time I try to employ common sense when formulating my views. There is the occasion when my feelings will overwhelm my senses and ultimately lead me to that feeling of "damn it" and so on. There is one particular person whose views always piss me off though, a fucking jackass by the name of Geraldo something or other. Let me give you the run down on Geraldo, in case you haven't heard of him, or harbored feelings of hatred for him.
Geraldo Rivera is a hit or miss reporter, talk show host, war correspondent that calls himself a conservative and yet has been a complete jackass for nearly forty years. This is a man that accuses people of racism consistently and yet he himself has been making an ass of himself talking about the Martin/ Zimmerman case as FOX's legal correspondent. I am not going out and saying that Rivera is a moron, I am simply stating he acts like one.
Personally I think this guy is a joke and half. This is a man that wanted the anchor chair in NBC and thought that the book "Exposing Myself" would not be a bad idea. I am hispanic but to be honest I don't see this loud mouth fucker as a credit to the race, if anything I see him as a self entitled faker with little to no credibility. Personally I don't think he knows what the hell he is. This fucker wants to be taken seriously but he tweets a picture of himself almost naked taking about how 70 is the new 50. In case you don't think that's a bit of a joke, please, remember Al Capone's vault. Yes people, Geraldo is the guy that made a huge deal about a vault that he felt had untold treasures and instead it led him to years in the trash talk circuit.
For years Geraldo Rivera has been making an ass of himself and honestly he is as sickening as the Kardashians. Let me say this, I propose Geraldo get on the Ryan Seacrest Productions bandwagon and develop something. I see it now, "Gearaldo does the San Fernando Valley" I don't care who is offended by this and I could give a shit what a potential Geraldo fan might say. The fact is that Geraldo needs to start taking some Metamucil and get the fuck off the air. Geraldo, you are no Cronkite, you are not even Eric Sevareid after all your "brave" trips to Iraq you can't even call yourself an equal to Donahue. Please Geraldo, shut the fuck up and take what little dignity you have and go home.

YOU MAY NOT LIKE HIM BUT HE HAD THE RIGHT IDEA
Richard Nixon was certainly not someone that invited joy and love from other people but he had some major merits to his credit. Nixon was likely the most effective VP in the history of the US especially when you consider the level of authority he had on issues of foreign policy and national security. Nixon had a great deal of experience which allowed him the opportunity of handling the Vietnam conflict with more success than LBJ. While Nixon's personality was incredibly off putting there is one thing about him that most people have to appreciate.
Richard Nixon was not really a guy to pander to anyone if he did not feel it was necessary. A prime example was the NRA. The NRA was, during the Nixon presidency much like now, an extremely powerful lobby. It's come out that Nixon would not cater to them and not only that but that he was willing to take them on by banning weapons altogether. Nixon did not believe anyone should own a gun. Even during periods when Nixon was facing enormous heat he was not willing to be a whore for the gun loving idiots in the NRA.
Nixon was devious, and in many areas someone that you just did not want to deal with. I will say one thing about him, the man had some serious gallons to be willing to take on the NRA. While no gun laws were passed by Nixon it was not really because he did not want to sign anything but because congress, his aides, and too many powers that be were staunchly against it given the power of the NRA.
Thanks for the college try Mr. Nixon!

AND THE OPPONENT IS.............. GLENN BECK
I guess Glenn Beck was unhappy about no longer being a relevant figure so he decided to go ahead and enrage a significant portion of the population by referring to the WWE as " stupid wrestling people." I assume o'l Glenn meant to say that the people in the WWE are unrefined and therefore would assume that characters imitating tea party members are giving the wrong impression about the tea party. It's clear to me that Glenn Beck knows nothing about scripted personalities and much less about storytelling for the purpose of entertainment. I took offense to this moron's comments because while I don't watch wrestling now I did use to watch it religiously as a kid.
The whole point of a wrestling storyline is to keep fans entertained. I remember back when I was about 12 the big storyline was Hulk Hogan, an all american icon, against Sergeant Slaughter who was billed as a turncoat Iraqi sympathizer. That story was controversial in some ways but it played to the American spirit of unity during times of war. I remember that I was proud of being a Hogan fan because I was on the side of good. I'd venture to say that while times have changed and wrestling has changed since those days there is one thing that hasn't changed and that is creating a storyline based on relevancy.
The relevant issue in society is politics and its hot button topics. It so happens that immigration is one of those issues that's hot. Glenn Beck refers to the WWE as stupid but I wonder if he understands that he is making himself look like the most ignorant of individuals. The fact is that he has given the storyline of two tea party like characters against a hispanic figure greater attention because it evoked a major response on his part. Glenn Beck has really made himself look like a moron that doesn't understand the first thing about television. Let me help Glenn understand what it is that he is doing to himself right now.
Glenn you got taken in by a story because it hit really close to home. You are fighting characters as opposed to actual people. The fact of the matter is that you are making your cause look pathetic in attempting to defend your position. What you have done here you stupid crybaby is enrage a likely significant portion of your audience and a far greater segment of the population. Not everyone follows FOX but a huge number of people around the world follows the WWE. Glenn Beck you can safely say you "marked out" like an idiot in a basement. In the end everyone can point at you and say there goes that stupid tea party mark commentator that can't really tell the difference between reality and an exaggeration of reality for the purpose of entertainment.

IN THE OPINION OF A FAT PILL POPPER
Rush Limbaugh is one of those guys that you just can't seem to get away from. Listening to this guy is like being stuck in a bathroom full of shit without a fan or a can of air freshener. Rush's latest brilliant move is to state that he is ashamed of America for the first time in his life. I think it's time someone made it clear to Rush that America has been ashamed of him since the day he came to prominence. Rush Limbaugh is like a bad imitation of Walter Winchell.
In the same vein as Winchell it's fair to say Rush spent no more than six years in school and that includes a good two or three years in the second grade. This fat fucker sits on that chair of his to spew venom without citing real fact. Rush's latest gripe is with federal spending and the current state of the economy. My question for Rush a simple one: What's your answer to the nation's problems? All this fucker does is attack and talk about conservative vs. republican without any real answers to the problems. I have a great idea, I think Rush should help be spreading some of the fortune he has amassed over the last several years to those less fortunate, especially those that look to him as a deity of sorts.
Does Rush remember that time he admitted he had an addiction Oxycontin? Some people claim his addiction was between 5,000 to 20,000 dollars per day. This is the guy that wants to serve as the voice of reason for America. The fat pill popper is not fit to look himself in the mirror let alone tell America that he is ashamed in order to serve as moral compass. I am not trying to pick sides here but the more I listen to what this fat idiot says the more I feel like developing some sort of contraption for flinging crap at high velocity.
Yes the economy is bad and yes it's necessary to take some sort of action to reign in spending but none of that will be resolved by listening to this fat asshole. Hey Rush please breathe, pop some pills and shut the fuck up.

LET'S BE STUPID
So there is a petition calling for Piers Morgan to be deported. The petition has gathered well over 30,000 signatures and it is quite possibly the stupidest movement against a single individual since Jesus was crucified. I am not actually comparing Piers Morgan to Jesus so settle down you sanctimonious nancy boys. This whole thing comes on the heels of Piers Morgan taking a strong stance in favor of gun control.
Okay if the morons signing this petition stop and look at what the lack of gun control laws is doing to this country they would not be signing this on the grounds of what they consider an attack on the second amendment. Okay yes we do have the right to bear arms but there is no spot that states anything about killing children and yet that happens every day in this country. Do the laws and freedoms also apply to those intending on comitting crimes?
Piers Morgan is using his platform to try and help a bad situation and because of 30,000 gun loving morons we are looking like an ignorant nation full of gun toting idiots. I also want to quote the second amendment for all the idiots out there "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." This means a militia not a single lunatic. If we can put a man on the moon we should be able to regulate how guns or weapons of any sort are distributed.
I understand accidents happen but you idiots Sandy Hook was not a fucking accident. I seriously abhor ignorance and how it seems to draw so much attention. I don't always agree with Piers Morgan and I find him a bit arrogant at times but this is one thing I agree with him on. I do believe we need to regulate the sale of arms to the public. If Piers Morgan is attacking the rights of Americans then who is protecting the rights of kids that get killed daily through incidents involving gun violence? Who is protecting the rights of innocent victims getting shot during robberies?
Seems like the backers of the second amendment only know how to read that part of the constitution because they are really ignorant to all other parts of it. I say keep Piers Morgan and throw out garbage like Ted Nugent.
PS. If you are offended by my views go fuck yourself as it is my right to express myself.

YOU BET'CHA!
Far be it for me to give a rat's ass about Sarah Palin or any portionof her life but sometimes I think the press goes too far in an attempt to get a cheap news story. Sarah Palin's son is divorcing and somehow that is a trending news story worthy of public attention. I think divorces are bad enough and as a result they should stay private.
Do I like Pailin? No I do not like Pailin but still that doesn't mean her kids need to be exposed especially when they are private figures. The only private figure related to a Politician that should always be held to the light is the one and only Billy Carter (Google Billy Beer). The fact is that private lives should be left as such. Give the guy and his ex some air in order to do things right.

WHAT MAKES FOR A DIVIDE MAKES FOR A DEBATE
Now that the elections are over and we have chosen our leader there is an interesting discussion to be had. The numbers coming in on election night were so tight it was nearly impossible to tell who was going to win. At one point Romney held a comfortable lead in electoral votes but it was early enough to where Obama could still and would eventually pass him. The end result was a commanding electoral lead for Obama. Then there is the popular vote which for a long time was in Romney's side.
It is clearly understood that the popular vote does not determine the winner of the election. The popular vote does register a pulse in the American landscape and as of yesterday Obama only had a 1.7% lead over Romney. The interesting question now is what did America really want on election night? Truthfully their was no overwhelming winner and a lot of questions were raised.
Yes Obama won almost every state he won last time with the exception of two states that Romney recovered for the Republican party. If you study the margin of victory that Obama had in some of those states it was almost non existent and the difference was made by the size of counties voting. Traditionally democratic counties voted as such and gave Obama a greater boost to carry the states he carried. So once more when you look at the map it's fair to question if there was a clear and overwhelming winner according to what we want as a nation.
It's also fair to ask if we are being overly influenced by negative attack adds that seem to run almost non stop for a specific period of time. I would love to see how the election would turn out if instead candidates were left to expose their various points in televised town hall style meetings where they could in turn talk to the people. Yes the candidates do that already and they do state what they feel is wrong but in this case it would not be an add but rather an exposure in which they could establish a specific point and try to carry it consistently. I know that won't happen but it would be no less interesting. How did FDR campaign after all? The FDR fireside chats were like destination radio for depression era America.
America is divided but the truth is that if you take a sampling of people and question them about policy a good percentage will not know the difference between a Romney proposition or an Obama proposition. This is not a statement that chastises either as being overly liberal or conservative but rather exposes the fact that not many people can really recite a budget proposal or medical reform proposal. The truth is that the venom that comes out of people and what divides the country comes from misunderstanding, assumption and prejudice in some ways.

WHERE DO YOU DRAW THE LINE
This particular blog is about mental illness and the complexity of it. I am not an expert nor can I claim to be one even though my mother is a Psychologist. I can't say that my coursework on basic Psych allows me a vast understanding of mental illness outside of basic knowledge such as Oedipal and Jocasta complexes. I was compelled to write about this because of the news of the sentencing of Jared Lee Loughner who not too long ago was the central figure in a massacre that resulted in many gravely injured and in the shooting and critical wounding of US Congresswoman Gabby Giffords.
To my understanding Jared Lee Loughner is a schizophrenic under severe drug treatment at least after the attack. To me this is a human tragedy of the very worst kind not just because of the loss of six people, and the wounding of thirteen including Giffords. To me it was also a tragedy because this is the type of event that puts such a stigma on mental illness that it prevents people who suffer from it to be seen as productive. I understand that in case of schizophrenia it's very hard to be productive but it is far from impossible.
By definition schizophrenia is " a disease that makes it hard to think clearly, understand the difference between real and fake and act normally in social situations." Often times environmental factors do play a role in the development of such a problem. In the case of Loughner it seems that usage of alcohol as well as hallucinogens and his inability to cope with rejection really led to his explosion. Then there are Loughner's issues with female figures in positions of power.
To me Loughner is a psychopath that took one too many drugs and decided to try and carry out his will. My biggest problem with this whole situation is that I have seen people diagnosed with schizophrenia try and lead normal lives yes under heavy psychotropic medications and yes sometimes under a degree of supervision. I feel that it is unfair to characterize mental illness as a dark spot on the basis of one isolated incident.
I am not saying that this is happening now after this ruling but I can hear the sounds of ignorance and widespread stupidity coming a mile away. Let's call it as it is and draw the line where it needs to be drawn. Loughner was an asshole with a huge frustration that revolved around a real distaste for women in general among other things. I don't think it was his illness that pulled the trigger it was his nature.

EVERYBODY LOOK AT TRUMP THE PRESS WHORE
You know something I am glad we live in a society where freedom of speech is highly encouraged. After President Obama was declared the winner Donald Trump mounted another pathetic attack on the POTUS. The king of of comb overs and smack talking went on twitter which is a great outlet for highly limited individuals like himself and he mounted an offensive.
The Donald began blasting electoral colleges, and talking about a march of some sort. Donald Trump reminds me of a past her prime escort. In this case Trump went from being sought after to being the lone woman at the bar hoping someone will want to hear her story of how time stole her youth and with it her dreams of being in a musical.
My biggest problem is that Trump encourages people that are far more ignorant to engage in hate speech and extreme prejudice. I am not referring to racial prejudice but rather ill based political prejudice that does not make any damn sense whatsoever. If people don't agree with the current administration they should understand the reason why they don't. If they agreed with the losing candidate they should understand and be able to really explain what was so great about his policy.
Republican or Democrat does not make a difference please know your facts, defend them with intelligence and don't pay attention to comb over press whores.

THE HOME STRETCH
So we are now officially in the home stretch of the election. In a matter of days we will elect a new POTUS. I know I should use the whole word but POTUS just sounds so awesome. So what does this really mean?
To an uneducated mass it means very little and to pseudo intelligent self styled die hards it means that their view of what's best for the country is going to materialize. To a few it means that a change in the cyclical world and domestic economy may actually occur. The next few days are going to be a whirlwind of differing opinions, hurt feelings, and major misunderstandings.
Pro Obama teams will collide with members of Team Romney and news outlets will make ratings come to life with election coverage and an eventual retrospective of the last four years. One political party will likely go into a massive search for its next superstar while the other will find itself bathing in the glory of what has become the biggest trophy in the country. Every minor, moderate and large political booster organization will then focus on pushing their respective agendas and moving forward with a NO MORE 4 plan.
Every home stretch means something different for the country, the world and every individual breathing. Let's all remember to do our part as we too can make real change.
