OKAY THEN

I get these little news headlines on my iPhone because I like to be informed. I don't quite get why I'm still interested in government news because honestly this whole fiasco has become a joke. At this point both democrats and republicans are acting like idiots trying to figure out who gets the better share of the tang.

I read briefly that now conservatives are looking at a possible momentary increase to the debt ceiling in order to avoid default. I am disgusted by this because honestly the nation's problems cannot e solved momentarily. What about the shutdown? Perhaps I read this all too briefly and maybe my facts are wrong. The one thing I am going to say is that this government is not for the people, not anymore and no one can convince me otherwise.

Democrats are as much to blame as republicans for what's happening. Obama did nothing of value when he had a supermajority in Senate and Democrats controlled the house. The affordable care act could have been passed, tuned, and made to help the citizens and not be used as a way to fuck the US.

I guess I'm just trying to say, fuck temporary and do what you were elected to do.

MY FAVORITE INTERVIEW TEMRS

I love getting these emails from career builder with promises of 50,000 for working a few hours from home. What I really love more than anything is the fact that these emails usually have the kind of description that tells you the person crafting the email really worked hard on it. Let me give you an example of said email:

If you are a conscientious, dedicated individual and are interested, please write back back to this ad.

If you will read it close it's really amazing how they use their terms. I love how the say " Must be a US Person." I think US citizen is more appropriate and sounds a bit more professional. The next thing that catches my eye is the whole " Strategic Thinking" term. How exactly can a person determine ability to think strategically? Isn't strategic thinking a skill that can only be gaged over time and with practice? If you are working from home why do you need a valid driver's license? When they say able to think long term are they talking six months or are they talking several years? It's sad to think that we are in such desperate times that scam artists create these bullshit ads to target people.

Next time you see something like this do your homework and make sure to do something to expose this crap because honestly it's all crap.

IN THE OPINION OF A FAT PILL POPPER

Rush Limbaugh is one of those guys that you just can't seem to get away from. Listening to this guy is like being stuck in a bathroom full of shit without a fan or a can of air freshener. Rush's latest brilliant move is to state that he is ashamed of America for the first time in his life. I think it's time someone made it clear to Rush that America has been ashamed of him since the day he came to prominence. Rush Limbaugh is like a bad imitation of Walter Winchell.

In the same vein as Winchell it's fair to say Rush spent no more than six years in school and that includes a good two or three years in the second grade. This fat fucker sits on that chair of his to spew venom without citing real fact. Rush's latest gripe is with federal spending and the current state of the economy. My question for Rush a simple one: What's your answer to the nation's problems? All this fucker does is attack and talk about conservative vs. republican without any real answers to the problems. I have a great idea, I think Rush should help be spreading some of the fortune he has amassed over the last several years to those less fortunate, especially those that look to him as a deity of sorts.

Does Rush remember that time he admitted he had an addiction Oxycontin? Some people claim his addiction was between 5,000 to 20,000 dollars per day. This is the guy that wants to serve as the voice of reason for America. The fat pill popper is not fit to look himself in the mirror let alone tell America that he is ashamed in order to serve as moral compass. I am not trying to pick sides here but the more I listen to what this fat idiot says the more I feel like developing some sort of contraption for flinging crap at high velocity.

Yes the economy is bad and yes it's necessary to take some sort of action to reign in spending but none of that will be resolved by listening to this fat asshole. Hey Rush please breathe, pop some pills and shut the fuck up.

SERIOUSLY EVERYONE DESERVES A REST

So Lindsay Lohan's storage locker is going up for auction anng news. I wonder exactly how this is a relevant issue. Are we so desperate to see people fall that we will root into their private lives like rodents? Wow Lindsay Lohan is a human being full of problems I guess that makes her not so out of the ordinary.

Privacy is something that should be respected and afforded to everyone equally and given the economy, wars overseas, and general state of the world this is not a news event worthy of scrutiny. I understand the fascination with celebrity because everyone has it to a degree but what is the deal with the fascination for disgrace? I think, and this is just me, that everyone deserves a break to deal with certain matters privately.

I for one could care less about someone else's financial issues if those issues don't make a difference in the way the world works. I guess what I am saying is GET A LIFE PEOPLE THE WORLD IS TOO BIG FOR THIS KIND OF BS!

Every Window has a Story

Ever since I was a child I have been fascinated by teller windows pretty much everywhere with the exception of the post office. My reason for said fascination comes from wondering why there was an area you could see an not be a part of. I would constantly ask what was behind the window.

Today as I ran errands, against my own better judgement, I decided to go to Amscot to get some money orders because it seemed like the quickest way to get some bills taken care of. As I requested my money orders in this crowded place I decided to step back several steps and look around. Once I was done I decided to step back completely and observe for about two minutes.

Over the period of two minutes I realized that I was fascinated by the story on either side of the window. I wondered how tellers dealt with the stress of self entitled individuals feeling that they were or at least should be priority one. I also wondered how the tellers felt in terms of the money being at their disposal. Did any one of those tellers ever feel like walking off with a few dollars?

Then I looked at the people on the other side of the windows and I wondered if they were depressed, angry, or just frustrated. I noticed this one little boy looking around with a sense of indifference to the world because he was consuming vast quantities of movie theater candy. I got an almost panoramic view of human condition and realized that one of the best places to understand the term "individual" is in a place where there are teller windows.

It seems to me like wherever money is present there is always that feeling of reality without veils.
