BLACK FRIDAY PLANS

So I made my plans for black Friday and that plan is to stay home while people trample one another for cheaper televisions, gaming systems and dvd players. My reason for this is that I actually went shopping on a black Friday and got hit several times, by shopping carts. I think that getting hit by shopping carts is one of the ten worst things that can happen. I don't want to go through that again, I'd rather sit and get hit by the ugly nun in my elementary school years.

I'm certain the beatings will take place early morning and late at night. I think mid day will just be miserable. I fully believe that my plan will keep my from taking some indescribable punishment in retail outlets.

THANKSGIVING SURVIVAL 101

Thanksgiving is a wonderful holiday when you are a guest, when you are the host the situation is a bit different. Often times you have to stress over the turkey, aunt June will bring her hideous casserole, and the kids will make a horrible mess on their new thanksgiving themed turkey sweaters. In short thanksgiving is a hosting nightmare. I will cover the following topics:
  • Television
  • Air conditioning
  • Health
  • Cleanliness
  • The house pet
  • The desired end result
All of this advice comes from one thanksgiving I had back in 1989 where I witnessed the start of a small national conflict. I recall the gathering was being hosted at an unusual place by people in the family whom I was not so acquainted with. In the end there were headaches, lost dogs, and hurt feelings, bless the memories. I can remeber the battle that ensued when the dog got out during a discussion about the George Bush administration.
I have taken the liberty to go ahead and give you a few tips on how to survive hosting a thanksgiving dinner. The first tip is to make sure that you have two TV sets, a large one with football on and a smaller one with the parades for the elderly. My next piece of advice is to keep the air on because if you don't there's a good chance your home will turn into a sauna. I would advice keeping some aspirin handy in order to deal with the pulsating headaches that you'll get as a result of the arguments that are sure to erupt over politics and religion.
On the cleanliness end I would advice you to use themed paper plates and plastic utensils, it seems that the messes created in thanksgiving are something else and no one is likely to aid you in the task of cleaning up. I would also say, make sure that your pets are secured because with the constant opening and closing of the doors there is sure to be an opportunity for Rusty the curious Chihuahua to step out for a sabbatical of sorts.
My last piece of advice on how to survive hosting a thanksgiving dinner is not to lose track of the occasion and have fun. Thanksgiving is a day for family; it celebrates the idea of togetherness. Make sure you really give thanks for your elders, your dog, the cranberries, themed sweaters and horrible casserole; because you never know when that will all go away.

BULLIES ARE BITCHES AND THAT INCLUDES TRUMP

I read that Donald Trump is planning to sue Angelo Carusone if he doesn't withdraw his petition to have Trump dumped from Macy's. Trump is threatening a 25 million dollar lawsuit if Carusone continues. I am guessing that the petition's close to 700,000 signatures have King Combover more than a little worried. I think it's really funny to see how when a bully is prodded a little he reacts like a total bitch. Trump is a sack of crap and he has been bullying people around for years. Now someone has decided to stand up to him and he threatens financial death to that person.

I love how Trump's attorney referred to Carusone's methods as mob like bully tactics. There is nothing mob like about a petition and Carusone is a man that I am sure does not have Trump's connections or anywhere close to Trump's money. Someone called out Trump for being an asshole an stood up to him and he does this. Trump is like every bully I have ever met and that is loud, overbearing, and full of stupidity. Why is the man that called out the President acting like a victim?

Trump is afraid of the fact that Carusone will not back down and will slowly get enough support to become a real problem for him in many fronts. The world doesn't need another bully for any reason whatsoever. Trump has been exposed before on the basis of his huge ego and he is likely to be exposed again. I think Trump's fear is the fact that on a different century and millenium he will once again be known as just another big bitch.

OH MY! DONALD TRUMP IS AN OLD WHORE

Okay so there is this whole "Dump Trump" movement going because let's face facts the guy is a serious asshole. While I understand how this guy may create some discomfort for people I have to say the movement is a sort of joke in my view. Today we are living in a society where controversy generates revenue and attention.

Donald Trump has fashioned his name into a brand and at the end of the day he understands how to sell himself, in a way he is an old experienced whore. People want the old days but sadly the progression of todays society points toward brash, nasty, foolish people to provide entertainment.

Trump is an asshole and the world knows that but they will tune in to hear what bullshit he has come up with. While Macy's may lose some tradition points with Trump they are not likely to lose attention. The Trump/Macy's marriage will continue because both of them get something out of it. The saddest thing here is that no one really understands that is movement is only enforcing Trump as a figure of substance rather than as an asshole not meritotious of the light of day.

Good Examples Still Exist

So today I read that Macy's longest employed individual retired after 73 years of service. There are so many things I find inspirational about this particular story. I think that this lady, whose name is Rosy Syracuse Richardone, is a wonderful example of work ethic at it's best. What was so touching to me about this story was the fact that this lady ready loved what she did.

Today we look at jobs as a way to get a check and spend the time. I would love to sit in front of any workplace and count how many smiles I see. I am certain that I would see a total of five to ten smiles if that. Working is as important breathing especially in today's world so being happy about what you do is vital. People are limited and feel that they won't achieve much if they stay in one place but the truth is that anything is possible in terms of accomplishments. Anything can still be done in life if we want to do it.

My whole point is don't look at things in a negative light because there is always something good in life.
