It's been about six years since the death of Anna Nicole Smith of an overdose and when you go back and look at her life it's easy to see how tragedy was always a step away. Anna Nicole Smith was the typical storybook tale gone wrong. Anna Nicole was a small town girl that made it big as a model and proceeded to make a million bad choices and and surround herself with people that would pretty much lead her down a path of bad decision after bad decision.
Prior to hear death Anna Nicole had to deal with the death of her only son and the birth a daughter. At the time of her death Anna was in a relationship with Howard Stern, the attorney that many felt was a part of her eventual downfall. Now that daughter is growing up and she seems to offer the hope of normalcy that her mother could never seem to find once she made it to the big time.
Anna Nicole's daughter seems to be well adjusted and the typical little girl. The six year old enjoys dressing in elaborate costumes and while it's pretty obvious that her father more than likely enjoys an alternate lifestyle at least her life seems normal. It's sad that her mother could not make it out of the dark waters she was navigating in bad company. I hope that Anna Nicole's daughter is able to lead a better life than her mother. The little girl is the tiny face of hope for a better future.
