THE OHIO MONSTER

So a man was captured in Ohio and is being held on an 8 million dollar bond. The whole purpose is to make this man spend time in prison until he is made to pay for his crimes, and I can understand that. The man is the prime suspect, and apparently guilty party, of the kidnaping of three women some ten years ago. The man looks like an average Joe but really he was a psychopath that kidnaped, beat and raped three women. The man actually sired a child with one of the women, a six year old whose identity became clear just recently.

The three women were beaten, starved, and one of them had several miscarriages due to being starved and beaten. The man was apparently an abusive and dominant figure whose style and abusive nature just got more evil and twisted as time went on. The man's former partner and the mother of his children, who passed last year, stated the man was an abusive piece of garbage. The man would lock her indoors and basically torture her for the hell of it.

I can't believe this guy was under the radar for ten years. This guy was amazing in terms of having a split personality because even members of his family did not know who he really was. I understand why they want the death penalty but, no matter what they do, this monster fucked up the lives of three women. No matter what happens to him this guy got away with ten years of torture. I think that in the end this man will never see the kind of retribution for what he did because a long life won't change a psycho and a quick death won't mean anything either.

HOPE SHOULD NEVER DIE

Three women have been found after missing for ten years. I think this is a wonderful example of why hope is the one thing people should never lose. I understand that when people go through an ordeal of this nature chances are that the person they lost will not be found later if they are not found right away. I still believe that hope is one of those forces that just allows people to live a little easier when faced with a situation like this. While this kind of situation is rare maybe it will wake up everyone around not just the US but the world.

We waste so much time debating over things that don't have an easy resolution, why don't we work more on trying to find people that suddenly go missing. The mother of one of these women died after three years of looking for her daughter took it's toll on her health.  I know there are lots of measures in place to try and stop these types of situations from escalating but maybe we can work on improving said measures since we are not really working on anything else as a whole.

I am glad these women were found and I hope they can recover from what must have been unimaginable and untold nightmares as a result of ten years in isolation.
